Visitor Information

Wolnzach is located in Upper Bavaria, approximately 50 kilometers north of Munich, in the heart of the Hallertau region (district of Pfaffenhofen/Ilm).

From August 23, 2022, the passage through the town center will be closed.

You can get to the museum from A93 via Ziegelstrasse – Jägerstrasse – Kapuzinerstrasse – Klosterstrasse (also for buses).

    From the A 9 highway (Munich- Nuremberg) respectively A 93 highway (Regensburg), highway intersection Holledau, exit Wolnzach.

    The airport Munich can be reached by car in just about 30 minutes.

    By train

    Local train (RB) or regional express train (RE) (Munich-Ingolstadt), at least once every hour, stop Rohrbach/Ilm.

    We will be happy to organize a shuttle service for you at low cost from the station to the museum and back. Also for groups.
